The Carriage Attire Thrift Shoppe is back by popular demand!

How would you like to clean out your show attire closet AND help the OCDA at the same time? In case you missed the event at the year-end awards luncheon, it’s called the Carriage Attire Thrift Shoppe and it is a fundraiser for the Association and allows people to participate by donating their gently used carriage attire. 

How does it work?

This is not a typical “swap” where people trade or sell their items. If you are bringing items to donate, others can “buy” them via a donation with all proceeds going to the OCDA. 

What items qualify?

Bring any unwanted mens or ladies driving attire (any type of clothes such as hats, hat pins, ties, jackets, shirts, blouses, aprons, gloves, boots, broaches & jewelry, scarves, pants, helmets, hatboxes, etc) that you are willing to part with and we will display it at the OCDA AGM.

How does one pay if they want to buy an item?

Cash is preferred but e-transfer is accepted on AGM day. 

What happens if your items don’t sell?

Unwanted items will be donated to charity or used for a future Carriage Attire Thrift Shoppe.
